Crafting Your Own Story:

WHEN WAS THE FIRST TIME YOU REALIZED YOU WERE BLACK? (OR BROWN?)

  1. What was the situation?
  2. Who were the characters involved?
  3. How did the realization of who you are affect you?
  4. What messages did you receive?
  5. How have you used this story to re-write lies or embrace truth?

Make sure you share Brown Mama Bear with at least 3 friends so you have someone to talk with about these things.
